TeleNourish is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (including Anthem), United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Medicare. Medicare covers patients diagnosed with diabetes or chronic kidney disease only — other diagnoses do not qualify for coverage.

Most private insurance companies cover nutrition counseling without the need for a doctor’s referral. 

We accept South Dakota Medicaid for conditions covered by Medicaid when referred by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.

We accept Medicare for patients with diabetes, advanced chronic kidney disease, and kidney transplants when referred by a physician.

We can work with your primary care provider to order labs or we can order nutritional lab testing ourselves. These labs may include single-nutrient testing, comprehensive nutrient panel testing, hormone testing, and food allergy or sensitivity testing. Labs may or may not be covered by insurance.
